Grumbar?

Evilhalfling

Adventurer
so I am starting a new game playing a human cleric of the god of earth -
where the DM uses Forgotten realms gods, but not the world, I know little of FR and couldn't find anything but the fact that the gods name is Grumbar, is neutral and has mountains as a symbol.

Does anyone have his domains etc- or a link to such info?
I can borrow the DM's copy, but won't see him until next week .

His domains are Cavern, Earth, Metal, and Time. Unfortunately Cavern, Metal, and Time domains from the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting if you're playing 3.0. If you're playing 3.5, those domains are in The Player's Guide to Faerûn.

There is a decent section in Faiths and Pantheons on Grumbar. Basically a deity of the earth, but with a strong element of social conservatism (the 'changelessness' aspect.) Clerics have to swear an Oath of Landwalking whereby they will not travel through the water or the air unless their life depends on it, which depending on your game world and your party could make for some interesting complications....

Here's what I rememebr from a FR campaign a while back:

Metal domain's power granted you Proficiency and Weapon Focus with any Metal hafted Bludgeoning weapon (Like Warhammer, Maul, or Heavy Mace),

Time's power is Inproved Initiative Feat. 3rd Level spell is Haste, 6th Level is Mass Haste (needs change in 3.5), and 9th Level is Time Stop.
