Man.

This stinks.

Once again... Gencon is right around the corner, and that means only one thing...

The boards will be relatively dead for us folk who can't make the trip.

Have fun at your stinky Gencon.

Jerks.

Ha! That was exactly what I was going to post, Charwoman!

I have to agree with the sentiment in the OP though, it stinks knowing there is a giant pool of awesome out there, and all the cool kids are swimming in it, but I gotta stay home and mow the lawn.

Yup. Have fun, kiddies. I'm hoping to make the trip next year, but this year I'll have to settle for hiking in the Rockies.

Hey I'm spending this weekend with my daughter and visiting relatives who don't have an internet connection. So I have to wait until Monday to hear about how cool McWoD is or find out how many people dressed up as Klingon or a Pink Darth Vader and so forth.

This is the first Gencon I'm _not_ going to in quite some time. And I'm heartbroken. The office is quiet now and bound to get quieter, once the last stragglers leave.

So I'm in the same boat. Just keeping my head down, typing away, trying not to think about the games. Oh, man, the games...

Must be quite the trauma, if it makes you register here just to talk about it. Still, it's cheaper than therapy, even if you become a community supporter, so I guess it's alright. :p
