Guilty pleasure movies on TV?

So I was channeling hopping the other day, and landed on a movie I've seen dozens of times I'm sure, and I stayed and watched it again. It's not necessarily a great movie - wouldn't even come close to cracking my top ten, yet it always seems to suck me in.

So, this got me thinking, what movies are like this for you? Do you have any such guilty pleasures?

I pretty much never flip away from any of the Star Trek or Star Wars movies, but I also seem to frequently catch Independence Day, The Quick and the Dead, and The Day After Tomorrow.

(Not a movie specifically).

My guilty pleasure over the years was watching random reruns of cheesy tv shows I sometimes watched when I was younger.

Stuff like: Knight Rider, Dukes of Hazzard, CSI, etc ...

Here's my top 5, in particular order:

1. Kung Fu Panda (yeah, I know...you did say Guilty Pleasure)
2. Mortal Kombat (maybe not so much now that I have it on Blu-Ray. Pretending the sequel doesn't exist)
3. Quigley Down Under (Not normally a westerns fan, but this movie is just so well done)
4. The Secret of NIMH
5. The Dark Crystal (Gelfling!)

Independence Day has been a guilty pleasure for me in the past, but I'm less likely to watch it now, if it's on TV. I have to admit I'm with you on The Quick and the Dead. I love that movie even though it's not a great movie.

I don't know where you'd rate (or anyone else for that matter) the old western flick The Outlaw Josey Wales, starring Clint Eastwood, but I always have to watch that movie when I flip to it on TV.

A true guilty pleasure for me in the movie Serendipity. I know. I know. I shouldn't love it but I do! :o

Ooh! Another one is the bad b-movie called Cherry 2000 starring David Andrews and Melanie Griffith. It's twisted but I love watching it.

Also, Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone. Another bad movie that's fun to watch.
