not all the kender in DL or the new ones were armed with hoopaks.

just think of the module with the kender hero/ PC... the one who convinced or taunted Toede into a poorly planned attack.

besides everyone knows Cha is the dump stat for halflings in the new edition. and thus why they taunt yet again.

Iliked the way Dark Sun portrayed the halflings as canabalistic savages. I'm also getting into the Eberron idea of halflings as nomadic hunters. Love the fact that they ride dinosaurs.

i'll take any kind of halfling over DnD gnomes any day. Gnomes are just a mishmash of dwarf and halfling slammed together...

Yeah, they have the Alchemy bonus of the halfling and the free cantrips of the dwarf...

I like 'em plump and swilling ale, tricksy little sneaks. I also like to play them as pirates.

While I had no halfling or gnomes in my last homebrew, I see no reason to get rid of either of them. I'd rather see the proliferation of elves get curtailed.

I like the "new" halfling but I also like my hobbits. IMO the race can be used either way in the same campaign. Gasp. What a concept.

I think its time to change my halflings into money hoarding sharks that have a continental-wide bank and credit empire. My players will probably hate me but I can always say "Hey, they're Swiss Halflings! And you know what that means!" good thing they cannot even say "no"
