Afghanistan (AP) - In a village twenty minutes north-east of Sharan, the minor Taliban leader Mahmed Abdhul Hassan was gunned down by unidentified commandos. Hassan had allegedly spent the last eight months hiding in the Pashtun region of Pakistan. A group of eight soldiers in desert camouflage uniforms but without identifying badges, stormed the home of Yousif al-Yaedzi, known to the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) as a Taliban sympathizer. A spokesperson for Lieutenant-General Götz Gliemeroth of the German Army and commander of the ISAF indicated that the ISAF was not involved in the operation.

The scene of the attack was the village of Pol-E-Masra, a small town situated in the Paktika Province near the Pakistani border. Reports indicate that the unidentified commandos arrived before sunrise in heavily armed Land Rovers and Humvees, then quickly surrounded the house. The commandos issued no warnings or demands for surrender, according to a freelance photographer who witnessed the attack.

"A bunch of them were on the roofs around the house, and then the eight just stormed in," the photographer, who has asked to not be identified, said. "I heard a bunch of shooting and then as quick as they had arrived, they disappeared."

Both Hassan and al-Yaedzi were killed. No other casualties were reported.

The terrorist known as Jubair is at large in Afghanistan. He has a weapon he plans to unleash on the West. The ISAF is hunting him, the Americans want him dead, but neither knows where to find him. The November Group does.

Hidden away at Firebase Alpha, operators for the most secretive covert operation force in the world barely have time to celebrate their success in Pol-E-Masra when the intelligence detachment gives them the news. Jubair is alive and he's in Afghanistan. The Yanks can't assemble the assets needed in time. The ISAF don't want to get involved. This has got to be surgical. This has got to be precise. There will be no prisoners, no trials. Literature found in Pol-E-Masra indicates Jubair is planning deadly revenge on the West. He's signed his own execution order.

The November Group needs operators to fill out 12 Patrol, Red Troop, B Squadron. Only the very cunning and the very deadly need apply. Knowledge of human rights not necessary. Knowledge of human anatomy a plus.
