Has any one mixed D20 with D20 modern.

Has anyone mixed the concepts of classes from D20 Modern with D20 Fantasy.

I'm thinking of adding defensive and reputation bonuses to D&D characters. Has game out done such a thing yet?

GRIM TALES will be out very soon.

It is built from both the d20 Modern and 3.5 SRD.

The idea sounds like yet another Shadowrun/Rifts/Everything-and-the-kitchen-sink disaster waiting to happen.

Sorry, I keep my genres pretty separate.

Hmmm, I never mentioned mixing genres. Just mixing the class rules.

Now that you mention it, you do sound sorry though.

As Krieg said, the Second World Sourcebook does exactly what you mention. It gives you a variety of options for integrating the rules. For example, you can add defense bonuses to your Fantasy character classes, and it provides rules for toning down your AC in other places so it doesn't get out of hand.

I'd like to point out that GRIM TALES isn't meant to mix genres (not that there's anything wrong with that).

It's simply designed to allow you and your players to run a campaign in ANY genre using the same set of core rules, with whatever add-ons you need to get the flavor you want.
