Doing that in GD is a good first step. In a lower traffic forum like this, at an off time of day (like 6 pm EST), it's easy to be the last poster in X number of threads. But GD is a lot tougher to do.

You keep that up, and you'll help drag server speed back down to the Bad Old Days (last month)!

It really is a vicious sort of cycle - once that post count hits a certain critical point, it becomes self-sustaining.
