*Elizabeth seems to vanish as if melting away into the darkness. A short while later, though the seconds seem like eternities with the expectation in the air, the party barely begins to hear the sounds of something approaching in the distance, but it is incredibly faint, and completely impossible to discern even the first thing about what approaches.*

Kharas feels his hand becoming sweats. He wonders why they were wandering in this part of the town. Will it really help to find back those kids. He would be happy to know what Anvuss and Elizabeth is hiding him, but for now, he had to focus on what is comming....

(OOC: Right then. These poor poor Ravers 
At least they wasted your action point and scroll I assume you guys have a torch unless someone can prove otherwise to me, as it is getting late and it is dark in this area)
*Thus prepared, the group waits for about twenty seconds before the sounds of the Ravers become distinct...and close, as they leap out in ambush!*
*One Raver explodes into motion before anyone reacts. Elizabeth appears as she attacks clumsily with a punch of her slender hand, which would have certainly left an opening for the Raver to stab her if he had seen her there. However, he did not see her, and so he takes the blow to the temple and falls unconscious though more-or-less unharmed.*
(OOC: Aethelus's turn, but since the ravers are out of sight and he is clearly prepared to use that crossbow, I'm just going to assume he readies an action to shoot the next one that shows up)
*Aethelus readies to fire his crossbow, and he gets the chance as a Raver snarls and charges towards Elizabeth. His shot is steady and chills to the bone, but the Raver barely clings on as he completes his assault with a clumsy stumble in his gait as he clutches the crossbow wound. Elizabeth merely sidesteps.*
(OOC: RaverB takes 11 Damage

(OOC: Ah, I didn't ask if Aethelus wanted to do lethal or nonlethal, but I figured lethal because the extra cold damage will be lethal either way. If Erekose wants it taken back, since I didn't tell you the roll, he can make it nonlethal (and it may miss) )
