I think he is a member of house Cannith with the Syberis mark, but I think his house doesn't know about it, because I doubt the house would let one member of there house alone there, not with teh Thelanium." tells Kharas.

"But before I go further in detail, you must tell me what you know about that device." he tells to Elizabeth. "No more secret, these kids are lost in that world and I know how to find them, but I'll need all the knowledge I can on that device."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"I'm telling you, I don't know anything about how it could lead to another world. It grants wishes and desires, like I said. And it granted mine, which had nothing to do with any of this. Maybe it granted the wish of this 'Artifex Maximus' as well?"

 

[Velmont]

"And what was your wish?" asks again Kharas.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"It's not important, Kharas. It only affected me, and it doesn't have anything to do with the current situation."

 

[Velmont]

"It has to do with the current situation. That device is part of teh situation. I've use it blindly once, I won't do it twice. I've risk my life three time while you were waiting for me here. What was your wish!" asks Kharas, insisting one each of teh four last words.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"I can tell what is relevant and irrelevant," Elizabeth answers, attempting to keep her tone kind and show no frustration, "It was personal and it was intimate. It doesn't affect anyone else. It doesn't make portals. It isn't at play here in the current situation. It is purely a personal effect."

 

[Velmont]

"Fine, if you want to be of some help, go back to Digory and tell him to stop his research on the new metal and over all, he must not tell a word of all this to anyone, or we might regret it. For the kids, I prefer to go with team players." tells Kharas.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"I will tell him when I go back. What about this little girl? I guess the people who live in this place you went are human too, like her? Shouldn't she return to her home?"

 

[Velmont]

"What do you think? That I bring kids here for my pleasure? For Digory, if he could destroy the piece of metal, it would even be better. I'll explain him why once I'm back." tells Kharas.

He turns to Elysia. "Sorry for the waiting, I'll explain everything in a minutes. Anvuss, where is Aethelus?"

Anvuss, as usual, finds it difficult to stop once he starts talking and asking questions.

"He seemed to follow you through. Did you not see him there? From your perspective, how much time passed? I was unable to cause the machine to function, or I would have followed also. Are there other children in need of rescue beyond whatever gate the machine opens? Did you face violence on your previous trip? Do you have a plan as to what we should do next?"
