Help choosing feats and Character building

I think I have finally decided exactly what to do with my character.
I have one question, do regional feats count on top of the 1st level feats?

My current plan is to take a lesser Aasimar, take 5 levels of the paladin (maybe adding holy warrior?). Using the paladin substitution levels for helm particularly levels one and the 4th level. I was wondering would I also be able to take the charging smite feature over the mount even if I take a substitution level? After that I was kinda considering going into grey guard.
The feats are kinda iffy. First level feats, I really have no idea maybe powerful charge. 3rd level is celestial bloodline, 6th level is outsider wings.

For equipment I looked at alot of speed enhencers because if they increase land speed, the fly speed should increase too right? The weapon will probably be valorous.

Regional feats only work in a game where they are part of the setting design.

That is, FR has them to provide flavor for the specific regions. They are not "bonus" feats if that is what you are asking. They also tend to be greater in power than standard feats which is why there is a limit of only 1 regional feat per character.

So simply dropping them into a non-FR game is not really a "fair" thing to do to the other players. Ask the DM how he/she wishes to allow it (if at all) but great care should be taken when dropping in campaign specific things (like regional feats) into a different campaign.

For prestige class, I was wondering which particular class was better. Between the Grey guard and the pious Templar. I am kinda like the feats offered by the Templar, but the weapon focus and true believer feats are kinda difficult to acquire. On the other hand the only ability that would be really useful from the Grey guard is the super justice blade of smite anything. I was thinking about taking 9 levels Grey guard, 5 paladin with charging smite class feature, and 6 levels of pious Templar if our campaign ever went to 20 for some reason. I think that is roughly 9 smites daily.

My only problem is where to put the True believer feat. If I take the holy warrior class feature than use that to get a divine feat to like a Devotion, the first level feat would be to get weapon focus. Maybe the feat on 9th level could be True Believer. Would it be better to go Grey guard first and then pious Templar or vise versa?
