Not that I know, but as I understand it, they use those feats completely out of context. I mean, they add those spells to arcane spell lists... can't really be anything else... ;)

Correct! Empower (and Maximize) have no effect on dispel checks or any other caster level checks.

And yes, the wizard caster level should be +17 not +18, and yes again, Dweomerkeeper adds to either divine or arcane spellcasting.

Also I wonder, if you actually can use Divine Metamagic to enhance arcane spells, I highly doubt that. In the same light, I think, that you cannot use the Initiate of Mystra ability to cast non-cleric spells inside anti-magic areas, or if you can, you at least have to use your cleric caster level to make the check! Anything else makes no sense at all. And I suppose those spells would still be suppressed while inside the anti-magic area, you can only cast them inside.

But since she doesn't even have the requirements for the feats, this hardly matters... ;)

Ya, I lifted the Initiate mechanics without actually using those gods. This thing's story is that she was destroyed by pure magic but due to some strange fluke the immortal spark from her demon lineage turned her into a magical undead being instead. Thus, all the magic-controlling, augmenting, and absorbing Mystra Cheese seemed appropriate. Init of Bane is basically for Battletide, which is also in-flavor becuase it basically involves sapping other people's evergy for her own magics.
 

I'd think that she'd use Spell Phylactery to make an anti-magic shell scroll be cast (scribed at minimum level so that she can usually make the checks) if in a battle Battletide and Holy Star are dispelled.

What items should she have? What other spells ought to be on her list? What are the best spells to use with Spellmantle and Spontaneous metamagic?
 

Hmmm, Spellfire? Houserule some feats (looks like if you don't have a problem with houseruling this) to allow Spellfire spell absorption as Quickened spell action once per round?

I agree... sounds like it's going to be more then an CR21 critter. YMMV

Oops, I didnt mean to say quickened. It makes it take an action, just not readied before hand. The free action strike back is part of the Silverwraith's ability. The exact CR doesnt matter anyway. My PCs just took out three CR 22-23 monsters in succession on the same day, so this is a perfectly fair Ubermageydemonthingee.

Besides, at a level where she has so many spell slots, his absorption and conversion ability isn't that much better than if it was a bonus feat spent on Improved Counterspell and if she also took regular Reactive Counterspell as before, and took the Archmage Ability Mastery of Counterspells. It would requires sacrificing a bonus feat and a spell (the spell to take the ability, the bonus feat from converting a wiz level into a Achm level) but the ability to reflect spells at high levels is vastly more powerful than doing 1d6/spell level to the caster, save for half.

Oh, oops again. It was you who suggested that, not me. I'd prefer not to Rule 0 in anytihng else. I want her to be MOSTLY by-the-books.
 

Hmm. The mob doesn't have SR yet if I can still read somehow right... Better get her something strong. Can't help a lot with the rest since my campaigns have horribly endings at level 15.

She has SR 28 from the Half-Fiend Template. Works half the time. Also some energy resistances, a few immunities, Spellmantle which grants immunity to 4 specific spells, and if Holy Star and Battletide go down, Spell Phylactery will put up an AM field, Caster Level 11. That means a DC 22 caster level check to cast, which she makes on a 4.

She needs supreme defenses, or course, since her HP are so low. Some of my PCs can do thatmuch damage in a round.
