Also, ive read read most of the book Complete Scoundrel, and i came about some useful Skill abilities, like how i can use tumble and then do a light melee attack on them, but i wanna know...it says i need to have X preq´s..if i have them..say 12 in tumble so i can do the skill ability i just said, if i meet that, i can waste 2 skill points, one for buying the ability and another for rank 1 i think!..but..would it eliminate my current tumble skill???...and would i need to put in extra skill points so i can have more probabilities of it happening??

Trap sense does not affect your searching for traps nor your skill for disabling them. It merely improves your Reflex save and AC to avoid being hit/caught by traps.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. The skill trick requirements do not affect your actual roll when you actually perform a skill trick.
Perhaps you could rephrase the question?
 

sure i was at school so it was a quickie reply :P in the book, Complete Scoundrel, theres something called Skill Tricks, which i can learn if i have the preq's for it..for example the one im mostly interested is Acrobatic Backstab..needing 12 ranks in tumble so i can buy it...says i can acquire this skill trick by investing into it with 2 points...1 for buying it i guess..and the other for rank 1? im not entirely sure, since it just says i should spend 2 skill points in it...Would it be a special type of tumble that i can do IF my DC succeeds ? or if i manage to get a decent roll... Would i also have to invest more skill points into it?

not sure if you have read it..maybe you can help out...

All skill tricks come at a cost of two skill points. BOTH skill points go for buying a skill trick, not just one.
To get a skill trick you have to meat the requirements. In the case of acrobatic backstab, you need 12 "ranks" in tumble, not a 12 total in tumble, just ranks. This means that you can get it at 9th lvl (Max class skill ranks = character lvl+3).
Your ranks in a skill do not get altered or modified when buying a skill trick, they remain unaffected.

So if you have 12 ranks in tumble, you can spend 2 skill points so as to get acrobatic backstab. Those two skill points are completely lost in order to get "acrobatic backstab". Those are NOT two skills points that you remove from you tumble ranks.
They are 2 skill points that you get to spend once you gain a level, along with the rest of the skill points that you spend on various skills.

Now, you can use your tumble skill to do what the tumble skill does + what acrobatic backstab gives you. Thats how all skill tricks work. The alter the use of skills by providing extra actions, by affecting certain DCs etc. etc. but the never modify the ranks of the skill(s) they require.
