Cool Displacer beast, but i have been disappointed in the 5e version of this venerable creature. It is not much of a threat. To low an AC and weak displacement.

Hopefully they provide a advanced version.
Maybe the one with the Butterfly wings on the standard cover's back IS the Displacer Lord, which IIRC was supposed to be a stronger/tougher Displacer.

They need to dial back on some of the faux-Asian stereotypes. You can have honorable and disciplined inhuman warriors without cribbing from real world peoples to do it.
While I agree, besides the appearance of their armor, I always got more of a Roman Empire* vibe from them, more so than samurai.

*Roman Empire by way of Caesar's Legion in Fallout: New Vegas, really.
