Hero System still much better than d20!!!

Bugaboo is absolutely correct. Hero is much better in pretty much every aspect - character creation, mechanics, supplemental quality, you name it. Simply put, Hero is just more fun than d20, and that's not just an opinion. Pretty much everyone I know who has tried both games agrees. Heck, my friend Trent donated all of his d20 stuff - over $650 worth! - to the local children's hospital burn ward after I ran him through a Hero adventure one weekend in January. With results like that, I'd say that the choice is clear. Up with Hero, down with Dee-Two-Zero!

I've played Hero, got a copy on my shelf. I never use it. Its fine, nothing wrong with it. D20 has the benefit of having such a wide source of materials to use, however. My main complaint against Hero is that every game I have ever run or been in, died a few sessions after launch.

Never had any interest in the Hero system personally. I don't want a better system, I want a system I can get people to play.

I have to agree. I also think that since Bugaboo likes the system so much he should be buying us all copies to convert us.
