Theremin’s bolt pings off the armor’s helmet, but doesn’t seem to do any damage to the rusty suit of plate. His song of healing has better luck as Coriana feels health surging back into her, bringing her back to consciousness, lying among the detritus of the old library with the rusty armor standing over her.
As Theremin moves, he tries to recall what he knows about such things. Having studied at the Academy, he’s seen his fair share of animated objects. Kelterin had a few pieces, also. He recalled that they needed to have blindsight in order to find their targets if they were to serve as protectors.
