Hey, What about Non-d20 Games, or -- Do we need another RPG Forum?

I play d20 games. ALOT.
I like to play CRPG's as well, but we have a forum for video games.


But I'm also running a World of Darkness game in the Playing the Game Forum here, but there's no forum for discussing things like World of Darkness, or Shadowrun, or other games that don't use the d20 System, unless we're talking about converting their mechanics from their original system to d20.

I'm not saying anything prejudicial or demanding that a forum be opened immediately -- that would be silly. I'm just wondering something: is there a particular reason why EnWorld has not expanded its boundaries to include a specific forum for the discussion of non-d20 games? I know enough of you play games that are non-d20 (I've seen numerous topics in the General Forum), or it is just accepted that such topics will be discussed in the General Forum?

Although this sounds somewhat silly, the reason Ive always heard for why there is no forum dedicated to non-d20 games is because that's just outside of what EN World is meant to be about.

Now granted, talking about CRPGs and TV shows isn't in the original purpose for EN World either, but thats somewhat different. When it comes to gaming in general, then pretty much anything goes. But about gaming in specific, then its d20 or bust. That was what this page was originally dedicated to, and its staying true to those roots.

That's pretty much the idea. Feel free to start up a thread or two here if you want.
