High AC, any flaws, suggestions?

3rd lvl cleric and a 3rd lvl sorcerer with an 17 ac.

Now thats not extremely high but, add shield(the spell), ammy of +1 ac (were at 22 now, if shield does give you +4), stone skeleton (2nd lvl spell), and now we are at 25.

I'm taking mystical thurge as my prestige class, and when i get to 11 lvl (all of my classes together that is) ill have access to bite of the were rat (28 AC). Oh and i forgot cats grace which is 2nd lvl sorcerer.

Which increases your AC but all it says is "The spell grants a +4 enhancement bonus to Dexterity, adding the usual benefits to AC". Not sure what they mean by that but i am guessing that increases my AC to around 30.

Are there any flaws, or suggestions for this setup?

Is there a meta magic rod of persistent spell?

Extend spell only doubles the length.

But the actual feat requires you to use a spell 6 lvls higher than the spell.

Which is pretty much useless.

And with the persistent rod, you could keep the spell going for 24 hours.

You could spend the XP and get some of the spells permeated.

Also, consider spells that grant miss chance, not just AC. A 20% miss chance is just as good as a few of points of AC.

Most of those buffs are only 1min/level (some are even 1 rd/level !). Unless your DM gives you forewarning of every encounter and lets you buff in advance, I wouldn't rely on having them up, unless you want to spend most of the battle buffing yourself.

Bite of the wererat won't stack with cat's grace (for the dex) or your amulet (for the natural armour enhancement) and I'm not sure what stone skeleton is but if you mean stone bones, that only works on undead (and wouldn't stack with the amulet or bite of wererat anyway). You don't state where your initial 17 ac figure came from, so I can't tell you if there's any stacking conflicts there.

So I'd suspect 17 +4 (shield) + 6 (wererat) = 27, is probably the best you can get with the spells listed above, for 1 rd/arcane caster level until the bite spell fades. Thats doable if you're wearing a mithril chain shirt for the +6 max dex bonus.

You did not state how you were getting your AC 17, but if armor is involved, there is probably a fair chance of arcane spell failure. So, taking the Still Spell feat and spontaneously bumping the arcane spells up a level so that there is no chance of spell failure is a reasonable option.

It's not too bad. If you were going for a high AC from the start of your build and have access to all splatbooks, you should be able to hit AC 40+*. The main problem with magical AC builds is that dispel magic/dispelling touch and its variants will get you killed.

*Of course, that would probably have required you to build a little differently . . . I've never done it with a slow-build MT.
