I've discovered a new FLGS near my office that has gaming days and nights, tables in the back and front, friendly staff, comfy chairs to sit in while you flip through books -- wow, I'm blown away.

Sounds exactly like the sort of shop I'd love to see near me...however, I must put a good word in for Travelling Man in York, since I had a lot of fun just hanging out in there.

There are decent ones around here, but it seems the more gaming focused the store is the ruder the people. The people at the comic store are super nice, but they know nothing about the RPGs they carry.

I can only envy your shop, as I have entered a land beyond dice and miniatures, and land beyond rules and rules lawyers...I have entered the No-Game Zone.
