I can only envy your shop, as I have entered a land beyond dice and miniatures, and land beyond rules and rules lawyers...I have entered the No-Game Zone.

Are you still in south Texas, Ciprus Christy was it?

How hot exactly is it, Tallarn? Do I need to mock your English heat, or should I really feel sorry for you since you have no A/Cs? :)

I think it's hovering around 33-35 degrees C in England, which is very hot indeed for us. Could be even warmer over the weekend.

And no, we have a bad shortage of A/C in this country, so I'm settling for having my windows wide open.

Skade, did anything ever happen with that bar idea you had?

Shot down on the flight deck. The town would not approve a liquor liscence, and though that might seem a small thing the town has enough beer joints to fill the market, and one that was simply nicer than the others was not going to make it in my opinion. I considered moving the operation to Corpus Christi ( a much larger city) but could not find real estate that fit my needs, and that I could afford.

My hopes are not totally gone, but for now I bide my time. Thanks for asking though. I'll see about doing it again in a few years.

Now, I am in Padre Island, working for a hotel, and enjoying the scenery. Ahhh...resort towns.

The pictures I saw of Clay's brothers place were really nice. That place looked and souned very much like the kind of place I'd like to run.

Resort towns, ya not to much of a gaming scene around there I'd imagine.

Nope. Closest game store I am aware of is in San Antonio (2 hour drive). On the other hand, there have been many adventures already in this place. You'd be amazed the things I have already seen working this hotel at night. Ungrandma friendly, however.

One thing really nice, all the people I know are good looking, and interesting women. This means they have have friends. This can only mean good things for Skades social life.

Skade: yo.

Crothian: I picked up FFG's Path of the Sword when I was in there last. Considering Lock & Load (Not that I run an Iron Kingdoms campaign but still), Fantasy Bestiary, and DMG 3.5.

We'll see, we'll see...
