[Hivemind] How does he do it?

That's great!! Sounds like the type of store we all wish to find.
Yeah, that's pretty cool.

But I'm quite happy with my current favorite FLGS. It doesn't have gaming nights or comfy chairs but it's only 2 minutes away from me and the owner is an old friend of mine (from back when he worked in another nearby FLGS I used to frequent ;)).
Plus, he has very 1337 skillz when it comes to getting stuff and he's not very expensive either.

Going off line to have some dinner now...catch you all later!

Crothian - I've started my game! Ooooh! Can you tell I'm excited?

I was sitting there reading your reply when it suddenly hit me: "Post something else you idiot! He's not going to do anything unless you post some more stuff for him!" :D

Being a DM - it's a whole different mindset. :)

I thought you were just setting the players up seeing what they do mundanely before the need do action.

Has anyone else noticed we are slowly being invaded by incarnations of death hiding behind cute and harmless facades? Does anyone else worry which of us will be next?

Crothian, have you seen the fan based campaign setting for Iron Kingdoms? It was surprisingly good. A lot of it came from Privateer Press staff and freelancers, so it's almost official.

My real worry about Privateer is that if they do not get a good procuction cylcle going that they might fold. I would be very saddened by this.

Notice: Yes. Worry: No. :D

Priviteer Press does other things besides gaming, they have a mini line that they were really pushing at both cons and by the amount of people at their booth it seems to be doing well.

I was unaware of the fan site but I really don't pay attention to fan sites these days.

Warmachine. I bought a few to feed my miniature craze. I have not played it though. I hope this does well for them, and it seems to be. (good sales according to their website) Is the profit margin much higher on miniatures than printed material? have any fantasy minature war game lines survived long besides GW stuff?

Now, if only they could put some of that same effort into the d20 stuff. From what I understand Warmachine Prime has tons of setting material, which could have been maybe dual statted for d20. I'd love to see miniatures of the characters from the Witchfire trilogy if nothing else. Especially Helstrome and Alexia.

I have no idea on the profit margin of Minis.

But first the invocation:

Cthulu Fthagn
What a wonderful phrase

Cthulu Fthagn
say it and you'll craze

it mean Cthulu rising out of the haze
it's a prophecy, we'll all soon see
Cthulu Fthagn

:D
