[Hivemind] How does he do it?

And no, we have a bad shortage of A/C in this country, so I'm settling for having my windows wide open.

Btw, put a wet towel in the window, and keep it wet by soaking it in water occationally. And your room will be tolerable to stay in in no time at all.

Skade: yo.

Crothian: I picked up FFG's Path of the Sword when I was in there last. Considering Lock & Load (Not that I run an Iron Kingdoms campaign but still), Fantasy Bestiary, and DMG 3.5.

We'll see, we'll see...

I love Lock and Load, but it really is very specific to the IK, mostly fluff really. It's a great read, but its setting portability is way low.

Interesting idea.

Old physics knowledge put to use actually.

In order for a liquid to evaporate it draws heat from its surroundings, in this case the air.

Try pouring alcohol on your hand, doesn't it get very cold?

And believe you me, it works, even on this scale.

I really like the Path series by FFG. IMO Path of magic is the best, but they are all strong. Heck see my reviews on them. :D Lock and Load is okay, but I'm really waiting for the campaign book that they have promised us for so long. At Gen Con I was told winter.

Of course it also increases the humidity in the air. This method of cooling works much better in dry heat. It doesn’t work well at all in Sydney or Brisbane for example. Not sure about here … everyone complains about the humidity here, but it doesn’t seem that bad to me.

It shouldn't be a problem in London. Just make sure to keep the window open.

OH, and btw, sweat work in exactely the same way. And that is why we sweat - to cool down our body - thus preventing a muscle burn down.

That's what they said last year :( I love their stuff, so I try not to get bitter. I'll just be happy when they finally publish it. I'm also looking forward to rebuying the Witchfire trilogy as a hardcover, especially if they revise some of the characeters, monsters, and make pop some extra setting material for Corvis in there.

Trust me, I saw them at Origins and Gen Con, and I really wanted to ask them why they can't do things faster but I had to restrain myself.
