I use them exclusively from my Laptop when I'm running a game, but to prepare for a game if its a massive part of my campaign then I print them out for easier reading and ability to make notes.

Both. But more as printed. Making notes is a lot faster on paper. They're easier to read. And paper feels good. ;)

Both, with a side order of copy and paste. Being able to copy and paste the parts I want is one of the best features of PDFs, making it much easier to put s monster into an adventure or to create a players handout. A fair number see print in bits and pieces.

I almost never print them. I copy and paste into Treepad to organize my adventure, and to have ready access to data during game play.

I have come to notice that only a small ratio of materials I own actually sees play. Accordingly, I will often by the pdf, but hold off on printing something out or buying the hardcopy until I know I am actually going to use it in the game. And then, I try to only print out the snippets I need (in some cases, if it's just game prep stuff and the players don't need to see it, often I don't print it out at all and run it off the laptop.)

I most often use them from my laptop. There are occasions where I print them for use, but most often I simply keep them on the laptop for use - either during the game or in preparation for a game.
