How do you use PDFs?

One thing I need to get better about (when putting PDFs together) is to watch that I position things so that they are easily printable. Such as, ensuring that a monster fits on one page and now two. I'm not always doing this but I should be.

Actually, I read them on the computer, storing what nuggets of crunchy goodness I find in my head until I can think up a character or adventure idea that would benefit from it. Then I print out those small sections so that they can used in a game. I don't have a laptop, so don't "use" them on a computer, but I do read them through on first viewing on line.
