You might see a theme as to what my week has been like :P.

Still looking good to bring some to GenCon .

we want details about this...must have details...details, details, details...

what seasons are being incorporated, how are you doing classes, what with the health system be like, do we need spycraft or will this be a stand alone product, will it be full color/bw, how much will it be, how many pages will it be, how much of my time will be sucked into playing this game, and anything else you don't mind sharing with us to wet our appetite until it comes out, and will you be showing us a preview of it (like ten pages not including table of contents) to tide us over, and will you have a rules-lite version akin to spycraft until it comes out??????????????

did you get all that? ;) :D

That soon? I was expecting something in September/October time, but I won't complain :-)

Thanks for the replies guys. I share EarthsShadow's enthusiasm as for me this is the year's most anticipated book. Any tasters eagerly accepted.

There doesn't seem to be much on the AEG site about SG-1. Is this deliberate? Maybe a hint to the web people that it could get it's own page with an update on progress and a shot of the cover kinda thing.

OK, I know some of those questions can be answered, but I'll leave the rest up to Scott's discretion.

The book is standalone (save for requiring an official d20 product like d20 Modern or D&D) and does not require the Spycraft books. That being said, it is based on the Spycraft system and should be compatible with most sourcebooks for the Spycraft/Shadowforce Archer lines.

The book will be full color.

It will eat your soul, as it has ours.

I am pretty sure a Stargate RPG site is in the works akin to the other AEG sites.

The rest I leave up to Scott to answer.

To add to Moridin's comments, there is also a forum for the game already set up at www.alderac.com/forum so that we can wildly speculate. Interestingly enough, most of the posts so far revolve around the details for a play-by-post game!

Awaiting SG-1 with a mixture of great anticipation and a little dread. I'm an unabashedly die hard fan of the movie, and the series (the movie, moreso than the series), and I am greatly hoping this game is done right...
