How many dice do you own?

Well said MrZoink, not having a dice obsession allows me to afford my book obsession, though I still have around 100 dice.

Dice

I have somewhere in the 500-1000 range.
In my bag I have complete sets of black on red,red on black,black on bone,white on black,green on strawberry,yellow on purple. Big dice, little dice, wierd shaped percentile and eight siders(looks like the ioun stones.) A 20 sided dice that roles forever, Black six siders with white pips, Blue six siders with gold pips, metalic silver and black six siders with red pips,2 sets of retro color the numbers with crayon, 30 or 40 of the kind that came with the basic third edition set, a couple hundred crystal see through dice that are impossible to read even after you have colored in the numbers with crayon and a single solid silver six sider from mexico. I also have tons of various dice from board games and other such sources sitting around at my house.
Oh yes and a d20/d10 from this past game day given to me from Mark Clover.
In comparison however I have many more minitures..... So many more......(so if you don't hear from me......)

I said 100+ which I think is accurate, but it may give the wrong idea.

I have the 36 6-sider "cube of death" for Champions.
I have three sets of teeny ten siders that I use as counters.
I have one set of really big dice, that I force players to roll if I the roll is really important (so everyone can see).
And then I have 4-5 sets of regular dice that I keep for rolling damage, etc.

In retrospect, I could probably get rid of some of the regular sized dice, but it's nice to have 5d4 for a 9th level magic missile when it comes up...

I have three sets of dice, so I've got 2d20, 2d12, 4d10, 2d8, 14d6, and 2d4.

I have a crown Royal bag to hold the good bits that I use as a DM, to expedite rolling dice for all sorts of beasties and critters and fnords. Three each of d20s and d12s, five 10s, five 8s, ten 6s, five 4s.

The mason jar holds all the swag I've collected over the years.

I'd say that 1000 dice could be used for lots and lots of things.

I have 16. Pretty boring, when you realise that the highlight of the collection is either the complete run of translucent yellow dice or the 20-sided d10s from MERP. We pool dice a lot when we game. At least one of my players has a d30...

Well, you can use them to cast Dice Storm on annoying players.

I don't really know how many I have. It must be in the 50-100 range. I've lost lots during the years naturally.

A lot of them are d10s and d6s - you see, I used to play Storyteller and Star Wars WEG, and, well...

(Ahem) As the DM I feel it's my responsibility to have enough to use as spares for players when they feel the urgent need to microwave one for rolling low. So about 50 or so.
