Do you want a Warden or equivalent primal defender class in 5e?

I really liked this class in 4e and seeing as the warlord kept going around in circles (and getting me dizzy), I'm posting it here out of morbid curiosity.

Is there enough to make it it's own class? Or is it better as a subclass or reskinning?

I think your don't care option is racist. But that aside I thought the paladin oath -you know the one about nature and stuff- was supposed to be the Warden.

You think the word "Taco" is racist, and you assumed it meant "Don't Care" (which already had an option 3 above it) as opposed to what it obviously meant which was a funny replacement for "Lemon Curry" (which means "Other/Explain Below")?

Tell me MoonSong, why did you think the word Taco meant "Don't Care" in this context? I'd be fascinated to watch you try and dig your way out of this 10' pit you just dug for yourself.

I played a 4e minotaur with some Warden features. I definitely didn't mind the nitty-gritty of that edition and that game having different striker/defender/leader/controllers of each discipline. It made sense in that edition. I also have no problem with someone bringing a class into existence in this edition that fits that flavor element. I would want to see it stand on it's own. I am not the biggest expert on what the warden entailed. What made classes distinct in 4e and what would make them distinct in 5e seem rather different to me.

Put me down as another one who saw the Oath of the Ancients paladin as the warden-equivalent. The three oaths seemed pretty self-explanatory to me... Devotion was standard paladin, Ancients was the warden, Vengeance was the avenger. All of which meant we didn't need the warden or avenger to be full 20-level classes.

Oh, ok. I was in a hurry so let me rephrase it. I think the "Other/Explain Below" option is racist.
