How many would be interested in this kind of d20 supplement ...?

Thanks again all

Thanks for the support all. And GNSarka I will check out what you mentioned. I come from a history of illustration for books and magazines mostly so it may be that getting publishers to look at work for that sort of publication is not the same as game developers. Believe me ... if all I had to do was the art life would be much easier. I will look into the call for submissions you mentioned and will also take a closer look at your company to see what you are looking for. Maybe I could do something for you if you are in need of freelance illustrators (whoever does the art for your covers is VERY good, by the way. I love the retro "poster" style art ... its classic.).

But, back to the planned supplement. Think of it as a ready to go "area" rather than an environment. Kind of like a country or region that you can fit into your campaign if you wish or a collection of creatures that fit well inot one particular environment if you want to chuck the background "fluff" and just use the monsters and treasure to supplement your own campaign. Anyway there will be samples on my site. Tell you what. I will work very hard over the next week to get my gallery back up and when I do I will include a sample monster (complete with a full color illustration) for download (free of course).

More importantly I'm glad I found a community of folks who seem to love RPGs (especially D&D) as much as myself. Its very cool that there are players, publishers, and DMs all communicating on one forum.

Thanks for the offer, Ranger Wickett. I truly appreciate it. Could you send an email through admin@jeffspangler.net so we can coordinate details? I will need to know how much of the proposed supplement you will need to see, how copyright and other legal issues are handled, etc. In the past I am more familiar with submittig artwork alone so there would be some basic information you will have to pass on to me in terms of "how it works" for a submission of this nature. I sent an email (from my home account) to Rob Lajoie (by his request) so maybe he could pass that along to you. The artwork included was not complete but should give you an idea of what I'm planning (for the look anyway).

Again, I gotta say, its pretty cool to find a community this involved and supportive. Thanks for all the feedback.
