WotC How much does Hasbro / WotC impact your feelings towards D&D?

Nope, not a bit. It's just an Uneeal engine VTT, WotC has a strict no-AI policy.

I thought that was primarily no AI for art. In theory we could get an AI DM. Would that really be a bad thing though? I guess a few professional DMs could have some competition but they're a tiny minority compared to the number of people who could benefit from such a thing. But whether or not they can provide such a service for a reasonable cost is debatable unless there are some real breakthroughs in technology.

A lot of the AI stuff is overblown or based on half remembered comments

the proper beta test has not started yet, I am in the more limited alpha

Dungeons and Dragons is my friends and my game. No matter what WotC does to the game I will still have my 5e 2014 modules.

Well Hasbro/WotC both design and publish the game so I think they are the main thing that impact my feelings towards D&D (at least the 5e stuff). Then of course the fanbase and general D&D community affect me somewhat.
