I chose more than once a week. I have one almost weekly 4e game I play in (we aim for weekly, but cancel if anyone can't make it, so we average about 3 weekends a month, usually more, but less during holidays). I play in one 4e game that usually meets 1-2 times a month, that we've been trying to make more consistently twice a month. I also run a 4e game that usually meets about twice a month. So overall I play more than once a week, although there is the occasional week with no game and some weeks which have 3 D&D games. The number goes up if you include the two non-D&D games I play in (one 1/week, the other about 1/month).

Lately my group has gamed in bursts. We'll do a game session a week for 12 weeks, take a few months off, have another burst of 6 weekly sessions, then another long break, and so on. I'm trying to get settled into a more regular routine, and at least for the moment it looks like we're going to have two weekly campaigns running concurrently, one playing on Friday nights and one on Saturday nights. We'll see how it goes.

I GM a variant Pathfinder campaign at the 1st of the montn. And play in variant Homebrew 2.0 -3.5 campaign in the middle of the month. 2 years ago, was in 4 different games, every Saturday for the last 8 to 10 years.

Funny enough we just came up on the one year anniversary of our current 4e campaign and we have run 42 sessions. So almost once a week(which is the goal) allowing for vacations, holidays etc.

Our sessions run 4-5 hours usually. Punctuality; we usually set a "dice hit the table" time about 30 minutes after we are supposed to meet up. As far as quorum we have 6 players total and will play if 4 or more are available. Also just made 9th level fwiw.
