Pathfinder 1E I have a Pathfinder society character. Please look and see if I can/should change anything.

Hey guys. I have a PFS character who just received enough to advance to 2nd level.

I know you can edit the character as much as you'd like before advancing to 2nd level, and I've edited this character each game.

So, this is what I'm considering going with:

Half Elf Paladin 1/Cleric 1

Deity: Kurgess

Domains: Travel, Luck

STR 16 DEX 12 CON 14 INT 12 WIS 11 CHA 14

Alternate Race Trait: Ancestral Arms (Bastard Sword)

Traits: Observant, Dangerously Curious

Feat: Fey Foundling

I plan on taking at least one rank in just about every class skill I can. I also plan on maximizing Use Magic Device and Perception.

I will advance only as a Paladin from here on. The added Cleric level is mostly for the travel domain bonuses.

I am not 100% convinced I should take any levels in any class other than Paladin. I am also not convinced I wouldn't be better off using a two handed weapon and relying on Wands of Shield. I already plan on using Wands of Mirror Image (when I can afford them) to enhance my melee abilities.

Alternately, I could scrap this idea and build a Cleric.

Gnome Cleric (Theologian) with the Pyromaniac trait. Deity is Sarenrae, and I choose the Fire domain.

I haven't figured out the stats yet, but I could probably manage to wear some light armor and a buckler to make him a little sturdy. It would be pretty cool to have a Gnome Cleric whipping out Fireballs at level 5.

I would advise against multiclassing. Either go full cleric or full paladin.
If you go cleric, then dump charisma a bit since there are not a lot of uses for it. For a paladin they are ok, I guess.

Paladins are quite awesome on PF. Smite evil is sooo powerful. A friend of mine played a two handed elven paladin and had a blast. You are super resilient and have a lot of things to do. That bastard sword will deal a bunch of damage!

If you want to go two hander with wands of shield, consider a Fauchard. One of the meanest most awesome weapons in the game. I recommend this for you character, but B sword and board works fine too.
