Oh, believe me, my family would be suing, but for our complete lack of money. In addition to this crap they put us through, my dad's construction company lost $100,000+ when his 'partner' 'forgot' to pay the subbcontractors and kept the money for himself before dropping off the face of the earth, and one of his clients decided not to pay the $60,000 for the extras HE ordered. ($100,000 altogether, not two seperate sums)

We're to busy trying to figure out how to keep our house than to punish Wachovia, which sounds a lot like "Watch-over-ya"(and steal your wallet when your back is turned).

Well, we only get lawyers fees if we win the lawsuit. Mind you, the first customer of my dad's company is a very satisfied attorney, so that's a good thing. She's currently working on trying to get our money from the bastards who cheated us, and mostly paid for already by my dad not charging her for a bit of work. Sadly, making Wachovia pay is the least of our concerns right now.

I remember them so not fondly from my days with them while at Catawba.

The 'Oh-didn't we tell you there was a 45 dollar check printing fee for your free student checking account?'

to the 'Oh sorry, your card was shreeded by our machine, but that isn't our problem' when they failed after 3 phone calls, 2 branch visits to change my atm code to one I requested.

or the 'Well that fee is part of the standard setup for that account' while I'm LOOKING thought the pamplet for it on the listing. (It wasn't)

Needless to say, I don't bank with them anymore. Hell I avoid using their bank machines if I can.

As soon as this crap is cleared up and I get my money back, I'm opening up an account with Commerce. I do a lot of business with them on the side, and they kick ass. DEATH TO WACHOVIA!

EDIT: Well, I got my money back. It's a good thing that there are still some decent people employed at Wachovia, even though they as a whole are a nest of evil, writhing, wallet-raping vipers.

By the way, it is much less important, but if you ever get a promotional offer to buy some DVDs at musicandfilm.fr (an online shop for CDs and DVDs), be warned that they do operate like Wachovia does.
