Phew. Okay, that's a crisis averted. So I assume concentration checks are unchanged completely? I don't see anything online talking about it and I'm just curious if the guy was misreading a change or just made it up/pretended to know.

It seems the only change is that the DC is capped at 30.

Thanks for that. A couple of minor changes I noticed:

Being incapacitated now makes you unable to speak.

Being petrified no longer makes you unaware of your surroundings.

In relation, how did Chekov know who Khan was if he wasn't assigned to the Enterprise when Kirk and crew found Khan originally?

Why did Kirk want to go back to the genesis planet when he had no way of knowing Spock was down there?

It's where they put him. And the Grissom reported finding his torpedo tube before it was destroyed.

Better question: Why didn't Saavik know that Kirk was violating Vulcan death rites by not returning Spock's body to Vulcan?

But why did the Vulcans need Spock's corpse in the first place? Certainly they only needed his katra to store his knowledge? It was just freak accident that Spock's body was revived, and thus became useful. When Kirk decided to take a huge gamble to go to Genesis, he didn't yet know that Spock's body had been revived.

We never do get much detail as to how it's supposed to work if the body hasn't been revived by science magic, but Sarek was pretty insistent that the body needed to come home.

I think they do go into katras a little bit on Enterprise at some point, but I really don't remember the details.

I am told the text says "Adventurers and monsters often hide, whether to spy on one another, sneak past to a guardian, or set an ambush. The Dungeon Master decides when circumstances are appropriate for hiding" but I would love visual confirmation.

It seems that everything is explicitly capped at 30, which I swear was in the 2014 DMG as a casual ogf-habd but not clearly laid out throughout.
