Unless I'm mistaken, Thunt, based on the 7-15-05 comic, were you ever by chance a fan of Dave Trampier's Wormy?

And don't pay attention to the critics...some people love to crap all over someone else's creative endeavors, usually because they are jealous they can't do something similar themselves.

Hell yes. That guy was a genius and a definate inspiration to me. I'm assuming that you're refering to the scene in which a banshee rises up out of a well and attacks Wormy? I love the way Trampier could make you laugh in one comic, then get completely serious in the next. Plus, his art was astounding. I suspect that in the future, other nods to his brilliance can be found in my work.

For anyone who doesn't know, Trampier did a comic that appeared at the end of Dragon Magazine in the 70's and 80's and also did artwork for the original core books and some ancient modules. He was one of the gang that hung out in a seedy bar at Lake Geneva and started D&D way back in 1973. But everyone knows this, right?

As for the compliments and advice, thanks so much! You guys have made me feel alot better. And you're right, I started this for myself and I should just keep doing it for that reason.

Once again, the D&D community makes me feel better! Is their anything we can't do?

Just keep with the goblins and less with the Drow and "Player's Option's" jokes...maybe something with the short, fat drow and the hot female drow...

I'm not sure what you mean by "Player's Option's"...

As for the Drizzt clone joke... I learned after I wrote that, that Drizzt jokes had already been done to death. And here I thought I was being all clever by making fun of the players in my game. So anyways, the Drizzt jokes have come to a screeching halt and I have ...plans... for the three of them.
