You won't believe this one. Just now I got an email from someone (a non D&D player) who said they got halfway through one of my comics and had to quit reading because they got bored.

So they can't be bothered to read the other two pages, but they can write me an email message to tell me how they can't be bothered??? That kills me.:p

Oh and once again... Thanks people!

Hmm, the 'email me' link is at the bottom of the page... so that person DID look through the whole page! They LIED!!!!

Good comic, glad they chose the plan Fumbles came up with.

Just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of approvals. Goblins is great! Really like the artwork and the gaming jokes, especially the part about them wanting to use the +1 sword from the treasure chest. Keep up the good work and don't let the flame-y emails get you down.

re

I like it. Its geared towards D&D players, so it will be mostly D&D players who get it.

I really am amazed that people take the time to email someone to complain about something thats free. Do these people critique the samples at grocery stores also?

personally, I'd write the comic to make fun of the people who don't understand the D&D references. Get more flames....and have a BBS where they can publically post their flames and get totally ridiculed by those who do understand. But that's just me.

Nah, it's not.

Brilliant idea.

My only complaint is the web page itself. Black text on Dark Olive background? Can you say zero contrast? It is unreadable.

Great comic though. Good luck with it.

No, actually, there's a scene in one wormy involving three giants and a wispy monstrosity flowing out of a well that your work was an unintentional MIRROR of; The end panel was the bald-headed Fire Giant staring at the monstrosity, sword in hand, exclaiming, if I recall correctly. Your work also has Tramp's tone of switching between fun one-liners that give you a chuckle, and dead-serious.

Wow, I've never read that one. The only Wormy archive I've ever been able to find is here, and it doesn't have them all (many of the links in there are broken). Plus I have my memories of reading them over and over as a kid in my Mom's Dragon magazines. But never THAT one. If it's as similar as you say, that's very bizarre, since Trampier's such a big influence on me, and then I go and mirror a scene of his that I've never seen. Spooky.

And thanks again everyone for the compliments and criticisms! I have changed the background to a temporary light purple so things can be read easier. Someone is currently helping me to create a "kickass'o" website for the comic which will be up soon. Plus, I'll be going colour sometime in the next couple weeks. Observe...
