I Need Advice From D&D Folks...

The 'pointy stick' plan is the funniest thing I've read in ages.
I suppose you just have to decide whether to please everyone, or to keep making a comic of D&D-humour. I hope you decide on the latter.

Also, remember that the Internet is full of immature people of all ages who enjoy venting more or less randomly and at high volume without any consequences.

Goblins is great stuff :) Keep it up!

You won't believe this one. Just now I got an email from someone (a non D&D player) who said they got halfway through one of my comics and had to quit reading because they got bored.

So they can't be bothered to read the other two pages, but they can write me an email message to tell me how they can't be bothered??? That kills me.:p

Oh and once again... Thanks people!

I read the comic yesterday from the link in your sig. It's funny. :D The fact that people care enough to email you should be a good sign, even if they are flames. :D

Awesome! Very funny. I liked it all, even (actually - especially) the Drizz't clone jokes. Don't listen to anyone but your own personal muse and keep up the good work. :D

The internet can be a cruel beast, especially to the enthusiastic and those just starting an endeavor. That said, it's a good comic, is in my bookmarks, and I think you've just found yourself a bunch of new fans.

Keep up the good work, and don't let the flames get you down.

Demiurge out.

People are jackasses Thunt:)

I read it over and it's pretty funny, well-drawn and consistent in tone.

All the nonsense you've got for it is just internet idiocy. it's out there and it will jump on nearly anything (remind me to tell you sometime about my Haiku contest and the nasty emails that generated:))

Anyway, to quote my buddy Colonel Hardisson (who was quoting General Stillwell)

[bq]Illegitimus Non Carborundum[/bq]

"Don't let the bastards grind you down"

Anyone who does or tries to do anything creative that receives public exposure, esp. via the Internet, should expect to get some negative feed-back. Just consider it for what it is: if it offers constructive criticism or helpful suggestions, fine; if it's just a flame or a rant, ignore it.

F the haters.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Player's Option's"...

The Players Option book(s?) were a series in 2e that allowed players to give up character options (weapon proficiencies, hit dice, all kinds of things) to get something else--just like the Unkillable Warrior in your webcomic ("I traded reading for +1 to hit!").
