Makes bones virtually unbreakable It’s like, cut-disappear. Cut-whoops. No more cut. It’s like trying to cut really hard, gooey pudding. The symbiont just oozes over the cut-region.
When its host is incapable of defending itself, the Hive will take the host over in order to get both to safety. Otherwise, the host usually has control. The hive’s main goal is to protect its host and anything getting in the way of the hive is usually toast.
Absorb Damage: Symbiotic cells can naturally absorb damage done to host. Absorbs the first 5 damage of any attack, can absorb up to 100 points of damage, "flushes" 20 points a day. Example: On Monday it absorbs 85 points of damage. If it was attacked again that day, it could only absorb 15 more. A day passes. Now, on Tuesday, it has "healed" 20 points, dropping its absorbed damage to 65, and can absorb 35 more (65 + 35 = 100).
Built In Weapon: Can form any edged weapon, as a standard action, to appear in creature's hand. This weapon is adamintium, and so has the natural properties associated with that metal. Can also form living chains made of adamintium as a standard action. (see DMG).
FLAWS:
AMNESIA: Cannot remember much of her past beyond basic skills and abilities. The monks who found her named her Hoshiko Nae.
MEMORY SURGE: random objects and events can trigger bits of her memory in a painful surge of recognition, leaving her shaken and unable to react for 2d6 rounds.
PAIN: when she uses the symbiont to produce living chains or weapons, the price is in pain. The greater the action, the greater the pain. This is logical as having something punch through your skin (even if you regenerate) is not very pleasant at the best of times.

BACKGROUND
Hoshiko was found half-dead by Monks of the Crescent Moon. These monks healed her and helped her train the symbiont to her will. She has very little memory of her past. She remembers heat, pain and blackness, plus odd bits and pieces. A bit of her former skills remain as well as vestiges of her former powers, in the form of a few extra psionic powers. Her driving goal is to find out who the heck she is.
