I'm buyin' all the revised books, but I don't plan on converting my current 3.0 campaign to 3.5 - at least right away. Most likely, after my current campaign is finished, I'll start a brand spankin' new 3.5 game. If/when Unearthed Arcana comes out I'll take a look at it first, but I'll probably end up grabbing it.

Out of the three revised rulebooks however, I'm really looking forward to the revised Monster Manual the most.

Ditto Eric on the minis. Random assortment is not the way to go, IMO.

I put down that I would buy the core 3 rulebooks, and Unearthed Arcana...and then I checked "evaluate by individual thingy"..

I'm interested in the new rules, and it sounds like the DM in our game is going to be switching. I'll pick up the Players Handbook first, and it'll be a while before I pick up any others (the official release date coinsides (sp?) with a trip to Reno, and you know...gambling and stuff=no money)

Unearthed Arcana is basically going to be one that I wait and see how good it is. My DM is more of a completist than I am, and I'll have a chance to flip through it before buying it.

I am pretty interested in Arcana Unearthed, though. Also, the game setting that Monte is planning for it. It's sounds, well, just neat. So, I'll probably pick that up when it's out.

Unearthed Arcana, Arcana Unearthed, Urban Arcana...sheesh!!!
:D

Well the only one I PLAN to buy is the MM... Sucker for monster books and the changes sound interesting.

Regarding the PHB and DMG, I will wait to see how others find them (what a scab).

All but the minis are a given for me, and with a few exceptions I've bought everything WotC's put out so far.

The minis I'm a bit wary of, although they're a cool idea. Having sworn off all things collectible, I'm not sure how interested I am in getting into that product line. That said, if they're affordable and done well, I'll almost certainly pick some up secondhand (to avoid the randomness) -- I only like painting 'mechs. :D

I plan to get all three, starting with the MM. (In my estimation the book most in need of revision.) Followed by the PHB. (Most needed book.) And finally, the DMG.

Unearthed Arcana I will take a pass on, unless it is really, really, good. I tend to buy only things that contain OGL content, and well, WotC stuff generally isn't. As they release more content into OGC I will purchase more. (Though I will admit Savage Species looks interesting,)

And I am afraid that random prepainted miniatures just strikes me as a bad idea. I like knowing what I am buying, and I enjoy painting miniatures. I don't buy collectable card games because of that random factor.

I checked PHB, DMG, MM and Unearthed Arcana. I will be getting the PHB immediatly and the other 2 as finnances allow. Unearthed Arcana I will look at and may not buy instantly depending on money but from the sound of it I doubt I will be able to pass it up indefinitly.
90% of what I see/hear from 3er I like very much

I'll get some of the books, true. But if and when I actually plan to use them is another matter left completely uncertain at this point.

Just think they may offer some options for minor variations / etc. to be introduced gradually. Making the full switch over, though, will completely depend on how well it all works together in the end ...

As far as 90 bucks for three beautiful books I don't think that's a bad deal. But 90 is 90.

If you pay $90 for the three core rulebooks, you are getting ripped off. All three are easily found for under $60 on the Net.

You can say that 60 is still 60, but its a lot less than 90.

I have seen people who refuse to buy the new books because they are too expensive at the FLGS but refuse to buy online because they will only support their FLGS. Kinda sad since not buying at all doesn't benefit you (if you want them) or the FLGS.

I will get the new phb straight away and then probably get the dmg at xmas. Wont bother with the mm . Who needs it when you can convert the monsters with the help of the other two books?
