Rodrigo came out from behind the wall and gave the old woman a grave bow.

"The terror folks sought to oppose our rescue. I am sad to say that some remain, but others will trouble travellers no more. How did you avoid them?"

He began following Miss Imogen, attempting to look casual but feeling wary.

Harb held to the shadows, waiting and listening to see what the old woman's intentions were. He wasn't entirely sure why he felt such caution, but wanted to hold an advantage if some sort, should this encounter become dangerous.

Legend
"Them Terror-Folks have plagued Old Nanny from times to times to be sure." said the old woman and she made a tisking sound and shook her head, "But the monkeys tells her when to hide when they comes."

Though she appeared very much relaxed, Harb observed a hidden tension in the woman - like a coiled cobra. Still, she seemed content to let them pass by unharmed, even if she were far more capable than her apparent age would suggest.

Dellrak gingerly followed after the others, keeping his hands on his axe and crossbow, just in case, eying the flying monkeys warily, and the old woman even more warily.

“An’ wot ye be daein’ oot ‘ere all alone?” he asked the old woman.

"Alone, says you? Old Nanny isn't alone, is she? She has her pets, she does. And her skulls. Lots of skulls, she has." clicked the old woman as if it should be obvious to anyone.

Rodrigo blinked. Skulls?

He was willing to ignore that remark if they could just move on unmolested. He had gotten out of that fight relatively unscathed, but he knew his companions were still feeling it.

He winced. Someone with skulls could be some necromancer... or someone who *knew* things. As much as he just wanted to get the heck out of there, they needed infos, clues, leads, something.

As they made their way around, Rodrigo answered.

"We are glad to hear you have good company. We are looking for the source of a curse that has fallen upon the land, and have heard of something called the "deathmonger" that may be involved. I hate to trouble you with questions, but perhaps our meeting was fated? Clearly you possess wisdom for having kept the Terror Folks at bay... "

"Soulmonger." said Qawasha, correcting Rodrigo.

"Yes, the souls. They slips away. Off to Omu they goes, they say." said the old woman, chuckling at her rhyme.

Miss Imogen stands at the far end of the field. Her companions have not followed her as she had hoped, only Weed is with her, assuming that is him working his way in the tall grass to her left.

She turns, an assumes the stance, ready to lift her bow and fire if needed. She was always good at distance shooting in school, and the monkeys are the same size as the quoits at which she would practice.

She breathed in, and out, hoping that nothing would trigger another conflict.

OOC: Kobold Stew : Rodrigo actually is trailing behind miss Imogen.

Rodrigo's eyes snapped at the druid, annoyed with himself that he got it wrong.

"And where is this Omu?"

He didn't known if this was how it always had been, or if it had been a new development. But still... if someone wanted to intercept souls, placing the soulmonger where the souls tended to go would make it more effective no? He wished they had a scholar versed in these matters.
