D&D 5E (IC) Fitz's Folly

Qawasha listens to the voice and takes in deep breaths in order to regain his composure following the fight. It had been a long journey to get to this point and as they came upon more and more people who had fallen to the entity that controlled the region, he couldn't help but accept that Ubtao required him to step it up now more than ever.

"If it would help to keep our hands free for fighting or defense, I am sure Weed would be willing to carry this Starfallen for us. Would you agree to this request, my friend?"

Kupalue's head bobbed and it thumped on its chest and picked up the strange lantern. Then, skipping over to Miss Imogen, it proudly presented her with the salvaged arrows.

"Would that be fine for you, Starfallen? Kapalue here is both trusted and reliable." If there's assent, she takes the arrows and puts Starfallen in Weed's hands.

"You are her protector."

Chrysagon couldn't agree more. Look after the Starfallen, will you? he urges Weed. He then looks over the table and around it for a shield that perhaps was laying around. Disappointed, he grabbed one of the silk ropes for himself and handed the other to Qawasha. Maybe you can carry this one?
Next he said to the group; Shall we continue? There's only one exit, apart from whence we came. With those words he walked to the door and grabbed the handle. Is it locked, I wonder?

OOC: We are a little beat up and low on resources. Maybe try to find a place for a short rest?

"We should ressst. Thisss here ssseemsss asss good plasse asss any. We can guard the access, we already have the fire and clean(ish) if sssmelly space." suggests Ussal as he examines the rod.
"I'd like to ssee if this wasss one time shot or it can be usssed again."

Qawasha looks around the room and then nods in agreement. "I concur that this location could be an adequate place to take a few moments to commune with our greater powers and regain our tenacity. Ubtao through me can watch over you as you lay down your heads."

He moves over to the stair hall and leans slightly upon his staff as he keeps vigil over the stairs leading upward.

A short rest to catch our breath is good, Chrysagon agreed with Ussal and sat down on the spot. Myrral, can you help me with the bandages?
Chrysagon's wounds were bad, and maybe even infected by undead's weapons, which made it difficult to close them all. Much time was spent laying on the bandages but with Myrdal's help it was finally done.
Finally done, he repeated; Shall we continue? There's only one exit, apart from whence we came. With those words he walked to the door and grabbed the handle. Is it locked, I wonder?

Myrral keeps concentrating on his spell recovering some energy to those hurt most by the combat. When the group took up bandages, soft chimes of shamans xsilophone and some herbs he liberally sprinkled over the bandages helped clean and close the wounds and soothe the shock of the terrors witnessed.

Once they were ready to go, he intercepts the paladin
"Cryssagon, we understand you want to go first to protect others...but if you're too hurt to continue, we all have to stop. Let others take the point now."
