D&D 5E (IC) Fitz's Folly

Rodrigo looked grim indeed - he had gotten out of that perilous spot unharmed, and now it was the time to strike. These creatures did not fight like living, intelligent beings, and he was beginning to understand why his father had insisted he replace his dueling blade with the shorter, heavier blade he was now wielding. A delicate trust to the heart would not do here.

His eyes widened when he saw Dellrack beset by zombies - they were going to kill him. Calling upon a cold anger he didn't quite know he had, he launched in a furious rain of blows against the zombie between him and Harb (L9, injured)

OOC: Using action surge

action surge attack no 1 vs zombie: 1D20+5 = [17]+5 = 22

action surge damage no 1 vs zombie: 1D8+5 = [4]+5 = 9

action surge attack no 2 vs zombie: 1D20+5 = [14]+5 = 19

second action surge damage vs zombie: 1D8+5 = [8]+5 = 13

He opened up with a low cut against the zombie's knee, pulled back an instant followed by a violent trust into the zombie's gaping mouth, jerking the blade back.

Dellrak & Rodrigo

Dellrak fought hard, but he became overwhelmed by numbers and the zombies ignored his valiant efforts to bring them down. Two of them jumped on him and dragged him to the ground, biting and chewing.

Rodrigo turned on the Zombie that was through the group's line, and he knocked the creature down before piercing it through it's gaping yellow-toothed mouth. It stopped writhing as he pulled the blade free.

GM: Oh oh. Don't roll until next round (and only if you don't get healed) but Death Saves are dc15 from the Death Curse (not disadvantage as I may have mentioned before, but still... sucky.)

Chrysagon & Louzo

Chrysagon brought his flail down on the top of a zombie's head, utterly crushing it. Another of the creatures scratched at him with its claws, but was again rebuked by the paladin's protective magic.

The urchin boy, Louzo was hidden behind a tree and he pulled out a little sling and swung a rock that cracked on the brow of one of the zombies that was trying to eat Dellrak. It didn't stop the creature, but it momentarily distracted it.

Silently, Miss Imogen lines up another arrow and fires it at a zombie. She can see the effect the smell is having on her companions, and is pleased to be upwind.

Attack zombie at L5
Longbow (sharpshooter): [roll0]. If a hit, damage = [roll1].

Miss Imogen

From her position under a large leaved tree, Miss Imogen had a clear view of the field, and she sent her arrow past Rodrigo and into one of the zombies attacking Chrysagon. It struck with a solid thump but the creature stayed standing. Yet another zombie lunged at the paladin and was repulsed by his protective field.

GM: Just Harb and one zombie to go.
[sblock=rolls]Attack: 2D20.LOW(1)+3 = [12, 6]+3 = 9

Chrysagon turned his head away from the blood-splattering head and saw the dwarf falling.
"Dellrak! No!"

Without thinking twice, Chrysagon raised his massive shield and, anticipating the pain he might suffer, gritted his teeth while rushing though the zombie horde.
"Where I walk, I walk in your light and fear no dark, for you are with me."

Stepping over the unconscious body, he pushed back the undead and took position in a protective stance.
"I got you, pal!"

OOC: Movement: N9 trough M9
I think zombies in L7 and L9 have opportunity attacks (One of them may be already destroyed). Chrysagon doesn't move out of M8 reach.
As Dellrak is down, I suppose Chrysagon can stand on Dellrak's spot and prevent further attack on him (or die trying )?

OOC: Sorry, you guys were waiting on me. Rolls/actions in the OOC thread. Used 1 Ki point used.

Before Chrysagon could react, Harb lashed out at the zombies attacking the dwarf, slashing and kicking away at the more damaged of them and then slipping into a defensive stance.

Squirrels are evil!
