D&D 5E (IC) Fitz's Folly

"Hm. A ziggurat. There must be many in this area, hidden in the jungle and overgrown through the passing of time." Miss Imogen is not hopeful, but perhaps one of the locals can deduce which building is meant, while she looks for clues or a map that might indicate it to her.

"There be one close by," Dellrak says to Miss Imogen. "If'n we believe Derio was on the same path as we do be now, then he may have went poking around the ziggurant in town after read'n this."

Chrysagon takes a moment to drag the corpses into the hut and ignites the improvised pyre.

"Lord Kelemvor, guide these lost souls so they may find peace and redemption."

After a moment, he turns to his companions. "Now, let's go find this wizard."

OOC: Have we had our short rest?

Rodrigo looked pensive "While this wizard, responsible for this foul zombie group, should be stopped... is it our job? Should we advise the authorities? Of course, I would be glad to lend a hand to such an endeavor... and it is the only lead we have concerning Derio... And why does "Viplo" right a bell?"

Standing up and looking more resolved, he looked at his companions - if this was a petty mage, he was doomed. If he was a good one... well perhaps they would need some luck.

"Master Dellrak - I know the immediate area is a mess of tracks, but if you do a wider circuit, you may be able to find the trail of this Viplo and follow it to his lair..."

Harb finishes his examination and turns to the group, reporting what he's discovered. Listening to their plans he shakes his head slightly and pulls out the needle he'd recovered. "I need to get the girl to a local healer first, that she can be properly taken care of. I can only do so much without proper supplies and conditions."

Squirrels are evil!

"I understand your concerns, Rodrigo. In other times, I would have even shared them. Acting under the local law is preferable but the Death Curse doesn't give us the luxury to wait any longer. Finding Derio is not an end in itself and stopping this necromancer is not our job, it is necessary.". As Chrysagon keeps talking, he start clenching his flail unconsciously, "We have lost the Artefact at the Tiryki Ancorage... We now have found this Viplo and his minions and by my Oath, I will not let him run!" His flail ignited as he sworn.

Regaining his composure, "I'm sorry my friends, I just can't stand necromancers. I don't think we should delay this hunt anymore, we have lost enough time. Lets save this little girl first then we should find the lair."
