Ussal took a look at the rod. While he understood nothing of the magic inscribed thereupon, he remembered the Tomb Dwarf had raised it and pronounced the word "Sharazahd." (Which was similar to a word for "thunderstorm" in Ussal's draconic dialect). The dwarf reached for the rod and Ussal telekinetically shoved it away. It bumped into Ghorruk, and the two clashed: The undead scored a light hit on the poisoned orc, who returned the blow with a strike from his greatsword.

Meanwhile, Myrral dashed across the room to heal Chrysagon. The tomb dwarf hacked at his tail as he went, and followed, but the tabaxi quickly gained distance. This left the undead dwarf to turn toward Miss Imogen, and it swung its axe at her as she ducked to the side.

OOC: Myrral took 10 from an opp attack (unless he somehow doesn't provoke that I don't know about). He heals Chrys for 15; Ghorruk does 11 to TD4 but takes 8 in return. Imogen is missed by TD5. More to go. Which dwarf did Weed hit?

Chrysagon received a couple of vicious blows from the dwarves. Myrral appeared at his side and closed some of his wounds. Energised, Chrysagon attacked the first dwarf with a blow to its temple. The dwarf fell over and started to rot away. Chrysagon turned to the other dwarf and attacked it with the full wrath of Kelemvor.

Action: Flail (Sacred Weapon) attack and damage: 1D20+10 = [5]+10 = 15
1D8+5 = [8]+5 = 13
1D20+10 = [16]+10 = 26
1D8+5 = [7]+5 = 12
Smite: Divine Smite (2nd level and undead bonus): 4D8 = [4, 2, 4, 1] = 11 Kelemvor does not appear to be particular angry (low damage rolls).
TD3 received 13 HP damage from first attack and TD2 received 23 HP damage.

As Chrysagon's flail brought down one of the two undead dwarves on the dais and harried the other, Yassah moved around behind the paladin. This action made Chrysagon uneasy. Sure, they were allies, and he had no reason to expect treachery, but the Yuan-ti moved with a stealthy grace that made his presence uncomfortable. But the snake-man's scimitar struck out at the dwarf, as Chrysagon expected it would do.

The Tomb Dwarf stood on the dais stairs and swung its axe, cutting Yassah's arm. It swung at Chrysagon, but the paladin's flail bashed it aside, nearly throwing the dwarf down the stairs. Above them on the dais, the strange iron-maiden like contraption stopped sparking and a grinding noise began. Slowly, the metal casing began to open...

OOC: Chrys downed TD3 and did 23 to TD2. Yassah did 5 and took 10 against TD2

The foul dwarf slumps its way towards Miss Imogen, its empty eyes looking past her, or perhaps through her. Again, she freezes the little moisture she can within it.

"Qawasha, get back!" she says, as Weed again takes its shots, but both miss.

Qawasha does not retreat, as Miss Imogen had urged. Instead, the colour of the staff in his hand gets suddenly darker. No, not darker; Truer -- more what it always should have been. And with that he swings at the dwarf as well.

OOC: Miss Imogen: casts Frostbite at TD4, which will give him disadvantage on next round if he fails the DC 12 CON save, and also 2d6=9 cold damage.

Weed: Move to AC 34. Multiattack: 1d20+4 (x2) both miss.

Qawasha: (bonus: cast Shillelagh), attack. 1d20+4=15 HIT, damage=1d8+2=6 magical bludgeoning.

Miss Imogen is 45/45+5THP.

Ussal moves toward the group of weaker humanoids and after a gesture and a word, chains snake out from his armor trying to pull the tomb dwarf away from them and toward him. Carelessly, one of them sparks against the old stone and slows down so they catch the dwarf at different times and cannot pull it away.

Hissing in frustration, he moves to threaten the other one with the thayan orc. Still, he tries to help by shoving the other one away from the archer woman.
"Ghorukk, let's destroy this thing!"

He instructs his small homunculus to remain high near the ceiling, out of harm's way.

Move: AH29
Action:
Thorn whip; Piercing damage: 1D20+7 = [3]+7 = 10;2D6 = [3, 5] = 8
Bonus: Shove TD 4 diagonally back to AE 31
Move: AG 30, flanking with Ghorukk

Myrral looks carefully into the sparking cage opening, trying to discern what's coming.

He quickly snaps out of it, rushing back toward the melee, but pinging once more Crysagon with the living energy from his aura. He saw thayan orc was wounded too, but Crysagon was worse.

Action: Perception: 1D20+7 = [16]+7 = 23 - what's coming from the iron maiden?

Move: AC26

Bonus: Aura of Vitality: 2D6 = [6, 1] = 7 for Crysagon @Prickly Pear

He was grateful for the energy boosters that Myrral provided. With renewed strenght, Chrysagon slammed the flail into the side of the dwarf, who dropped the guard momentarily. That was enough for Chrysagon to burry the flail in the dwarf's head. Similarly to the other dwarf, this one fell down on his knees and then toppled over, already starting to rot away.
Chrysagon moved his gaze towards the iron maiden that slowly started to open up. What's going on there, he wondered.

Action: Flail (Sacred Weapon) attack and damage: 1D20+10 = [9]+10 = 19
1D8+5 = [3]+5 = 8
1D20+10 = [20]+10 = 30
1D8+5 = [6]+5 = 11
, 2 hits for a total of 19 HP magical damage, enough to kill TD2. 2nd hit was a critical hit... what a waste! :)

Chrysagon is at 31/52 HP. 🥳
