As the dwarves turn and attack, Miss Imogen drops her torch and reaches for an arrow. She lines up to shoot the dwarf the Thayan is attacking. She can't get a clean shot, though, and so turns instead to the one closest to the door. She relaxes her hand, and the bow string slips from her finger tips launching the projectile. Her arrow hits. "Come this way" she says, and strides back to a place that gives her an uninterrupted command of the room.

OOC: Bonus: Fighting Spirit. (advantage until end of turn), +5 THP: currently 45/45+5THP. (2 uses left).
Action: Attack with advantage and sharpshooter vs TD 4: 1d20+4=22; damage = 1d8+14=18 piercing.
Move to AD 29 (or AE if the couatl moves) -- just outside of range if TD4 moves 30'. (not using Action surge)

Weed squeaks and runs under the table behind Miss Imogen. "Running for cover?" she thinks. "Smart boy," just before she starts to move. She is hopeful, for a fraction of a second, and then her heart sinks: from underneath the table to pebbles fly out, and the first one hits the same creature she had attacked. "Oh, be careful, Sweetie." Miss Imogen says.

OOC: Move to AB33 (assuming it's a table and not a cabinet; Perhaps that gives some cover?).
Action: sling attack 1: 1d20+4=17 (hit) damage=1d4+2=5 bludgeoning (attack 2 is a miss; same roll).

Neurotic

I plan on living forever. Or die trying.
"Ussal, you got this. Take the rod!"

Tabaxi shaman rounds behind yuan-ti warrior, skipping over the tail and unfolds his clawed net. Throwing it over the zombie carrying the rod, he hopes others will stop those behind him. He keeps hold of the trailing rope.

Bonus: inspiration to Ussal
Move: AI28
Interact: draw a net
Action: throw the net over the zombie carrying the rod
Throwing net; damage: 1D20+6 = [3]+6 = 9
1D4 = [1] = 1
- right! :(
DC 12 to get free of the net, 1 damage on failure (1d4 per fail)

"Tired of pushing and dansssing around. I'm pulping it!"

Ussal slides forward and swings his metal encased hand that bursts into flame moment before impacting the undead.

"Yassah, get the other two! Prevent the rod from getting there!"

@Kobold Stew homunculus is tiny and shouldn't block the square
@FitzTheRuke aren't brood guards above guarding the passages?

Chrysagon moved quickly up towards the dwarves next to the iron maiden and took a defensive stance. Next, he pointed as he called out to the two dwarves: You two, cease action immediately. I command you!
Chrysagon did not expect them to heed his call but at least the command might intimidate them.

Move from AC28 (not from AC30, as shown on map) to AE23
Action: Dodge (creatures have disadvantage on attacks) and in line to intercept rod carrier tomb dwarf.
If appropriate... Intimidation check: 1D20+4 = [17]+4 = 21
Reminder, Chrysagon's flail is now a magical weapon and is brightly lit, shedding bright light to 20' and dim light for another 20'.
Also, Chrysagon used his Channel Divinity (Sacred Weapon) in the previous round, so AC16 HP 41/52 (Res Nec&Rad) HD 6/6 PP10* SS 2/4 2/2 CD 10/1 LoH 0/30. It lasts for a minute.

Legend
Chrysagon strode through the smoke, his flail casting a burning light through the wisps. When he reached the contraption, he commanded the dwarves to stop. Both hesitated for a moment, perhaps used to being commanded by a forceful leader. Then one moaned and moved toward him, swinging an axe. Chrysagon was prepared for it, and blocked with his flail, but then the dwarf opened its mouth unnaturally wide and inhaled. Chrysagon felt his life energies being pulled away. Thankfully, his angelic nature helped him to resist it.

OOC: I'll let you get away with it, but if you want to have an intimidate check have any "oomph" behind it, you should use your action along with it. TD2 remains surprised on his turn. TD3 does 7 necrotic to Chyrs (so 3), and Chrys needs to roll a dc13 Con save, or it knocks his max HP down by 3 until a long rest. Be back soon for more!

Legend
Miss Imogen and Weed both struck a Tomb Dwarf at range, then Imogen watched as the Thayan orc, Ghorruk, swung his sword at the creature in a swaying, almost drunken arc, then found himself double-teamed by two undead dwarves, who hacked at him with their axes. The orc managed to block one axe, but the other scored a shallow wound. Then, like Chrysagon's opponent, the dwarves opened their mouths and groaned a strange inhale, and a patch of Ghorruk's flesh appeared to wither and crack.

OOC: Imogen does 18 & Weed does 5 to TD5 (it takes 11 because or resistance); Ghorruk (who has been poisoned for quite some time) misses, while TD4 & 5 do 5 slashing & 8 necrotic to him. (He makes one save but fails the other, so his max HP drop by 4). More to come!

Legend
Seeing that the brood guards had left their posts to follow the group, Yassah hissed at them in admonition, and they dejectedly moved back up the stairs to stand guard. Qawasha, too, remained on the stairs, staying out of the way and calling out, "What should I do to help?"

Yassah ignored him, and moved toward the contraption to help Chrysagon, slashing at a dwarf with his scimitar. Dellrak stayed behind the cover of a pillar and fired his crossbow quarrel into the same dwarf, who staggered but remained standing.

Myrral and Ussal struggled with the dwarf who carried the rod; the tabaxi threw his net, but the dwarf batted it out of the air with a flailing arm. As Myrral coiled it back up, Ussal stepped in front of him and bashed the dwarf in the face with his metal fist, surrounded in flame. The dwarf's scraggly, dead beard curled in the flames, and his nose was quite squashed, but it did not seem to care as it lowered the rod and spoke in a mangled whisper, "Sharazahd."

Suddenly, the rod crackled with lightning and a bolt shot across the room. It traveled through Ussal, with little-side bolts raining down around him. It went through Myrral, his fur standing on end, and it struck the iron-maiden-like contraption at the end of the room, causing it to cascade sparks onto the dais on which it stood.

OOC: Oh oh! Ussal & Myrral are going to take 20 lightning damage (10 if they make a dc15 dex save. Ussal might have disadvantage.) Ussal did 12 to TD1; Yassah and Dellrak did 15 total to TD3.

Miss Imogen hears Qawasha behind her, and she starts barking instructions: "Ghorruk! Get out of there! You can't handle two of them in your state. When he's clear, Qawasha, try to immobilize those two. We'll focus out attention."

Miss Imogen's attention is on the dwarf that has fired lightning through her colleagues. The smell of their burnt hair fills her nostrils, in spite of the sweat that hangs heavy in the hot air of the room.

She has not reached for an arrow, but instead reaches out with her fist in hopes of pulling the remaining moisture from its already dessicated hide. It is not clear to her if this will have any effect on the creature.

Meanwhile, tiny Weed has joined her and launches to tiny pebbles at the same creature, one of which seems to hit.

OOC: (suggested actions: Ghorruk disengages and moves to AI 32. Qawasha casts entangle to fill AF-AI 32-37.)
Miss Imogen: casts Frostbite at TD1, which will give him disadvantage on next round if he fails the DC 12 CON save, and also 2d6=2 (ptth!) cold damage.

Weed: Move to AC 30. Multiattack: 1d20+4=6 (miss); 1d20+4=14 (hit) damage = 5.

Miss Imogen is 45/45+5THP.
