OOC: The crates appear to have once held valuables and were closed with now missing handles or locks. Most are empty, although some contain rubble that may or may not hide a few precious items. No big treasure seems to be stored here, though.

When Tarboun speaks up he stops and thinks. "Something feels off here. I think we need to talk to this Boss of theirs and hear his story."

Turning to the dwarf he says, "Tell him we need to speak to his Boss. We want to find out what is going on here."

When James closes the door again, the room once more becomes quiet, if not peaceful.

Traubon nods as Thadius asks the dwarf to translate his words, and the goblin starts nodding as it listens to him. A quick exchange in the guttural Goblin tongue follows, then Traubon again switches to Common.

"He's willing to bring us before the tribe leader, called Krig. Says he's in the throne room, a few rooms up ahead."

The dwarven scholar looks at the goblin sideways. "If it's true what he says."

Magdalena nodded. “Then let us to and see this Krig. Find out why they are poisoning the villagers.” She limped a little after the others, the wound in her leg from the snakes not completely healed.

"Chin up, Master Hermain," the tiefling says with a grin. "We weren't going to be able to sneak by a whole den of this gobos anyway. Best we look confident in our abilities, and maybe bring their bested warrior with us."

"I'm not sure its a good idea either - goblins are not to be trusted, their word is worth nothing. But I can't see an alternative."

Upon being prompted, the captured goblin moves to the door its now dead companion was fleeing to. A quick look at its captors, who are following its every move, and it slowly opens the door.

Some footsteps can be heard moving about, but they are almost impossible to notice above the wailing and nagging of many tiny voices. As the companions enter, they notice several things at once.

This room might once have been a den or study of some kind, but the goblins have trashed it past the point of recognition. The south floor has been torn up to make a shallow pit. Netting has been strung around the outside of the pit, and the screaming of infant goblins rises from within.

Three doors are present at the opposite end, and as soon as you enter, three female goblins, unarmed and panicked upon seeing you, exclaim some phrases before quickly moving towards the rightmost door.

The only other adult goblin in this room, a fierce looking female, grabs a long spear and moves between the intruders and the infants. She raises her weapon, ready to defend herself and her charges, but does attack - yet.

”What’s this? What are you doing?” she asks the captive.

OOC: I’m going to assume Traubon translates, so you can interact freely with any goblins.
