Suldrel bounds around the corner of the shed, and upon catching sight of the rat takes aim with the blunt head of his polearm to squash the rat with extreme prejudice.

Elsbeth sees the others suddenly start towards the shed in a hurry.

"What's going on? Is someone home?"

Jariah moved past Elsbeth with a puzzled expression. “Umm, I just said there was a large rat in the ruined shed.”

Coming up behind Sachiko, she touched her and cast the minor cantrip again.

With mental instructions, Jakira was given his freedom to attack as Suldrel appeared and slashed at the creature. “Yay, let me git it too!” He moved in a tried to bite it as well.

Elsbeth sees the others suddenly start towards the shed in a hurry.
"What's going on? Is someone home?"

Jariah moved past Elsbeth with a puzzled expression. “Umm, I just said there was a large rat in the ruined shed.”
Coming up behind Sachiko, she touched her and cast the minor cantrip again.

Sachiko seems confused for the moment and stays put where she is.

Suldrel bounds around the corner of the shed, and upon catching sight of the rat takes aim with the blunt head of his polearm to squash the rat with extreme prejudice.
The rat is easliy downed by Suldrel's mighty blow. It lets out a dying squeal.

Jakira, seeing the lone rat downed delays to see if it had friends.

"'Large rat'?"[/COLOR] echoed Fastus "A REAL rat?" That didn't seem worth all this fuss... Did it? "Are we gonna give it to Proudstump for his snakes or something?"

He waited to see what was going to happon.

The dying rat's squeal is returned with multiple others. Four more rats appear from their hiding spots.

With mental instructions, Jakira was given his freedom to attack as Suldrel appeared and slashed at the creature. “Yay, let me git it too!” He moved in a tried to bite it as well.
His attack takes out another rat leaving three left standing.

"If we can nix them before they decide we're worth a nibble with their diseased teeth, I'm all for clearing the room," Wireth says. He slides into the building himself and takes a swipe at the vermin that comes in his reach.

"I guess it's for a good cause?" admitted Fastus, although he didn't sound all that pumped up about it either. He companionably accompanied Elsbeth though, unlimbering his bar mace as he walked. "Maybe the owner'll be grateful or something?"

He usually LIKED helping people too, but now...
