[IC] The Odd Job

"Say, Balin, we were waiting for that quicksilver stuff. Where is it? How do we use it? When do we use it?" Ana inquires. "If we come upon the beast without the stuff, we probably won't fare very well."

Galdar doesn't notice anything.

"Well its simple really, you can throw it at the target and the vial will shatter coating the beast in silver or you can pour it over a weapon." A hand emerges from the undergrowth holding the vials with the quicksilver."Can't see a darn thing down here"

The undergrowth ahead of you begins to rustle away from you, you can only assume the little fellow is on the move. After wandering for about 5mins there is more rustling than one halfling could cause. 4 rustling things infact are coming in fast there about 60ft away coming in from every directing they have you surrounded, what ever they are.

Round 0

Hrgach waded through the thick underbrush as they entered the strange forest. Then the human woman started complaining again. Gods above and below, did she never shut up? It’s like she wanted to find this creature and get turned!

Hrgach snatched one of the vials of quicksilver from the halfling’s hand when he held them up above the brush. Just in time, it seemed, as some things were approaching through the grass.

Hrgach drew his sword and held it ready.

Remember you cannot see what is attacking you unless you look below the undergrowth or remove it. Going prone would do the trick. Either way unless you can remove the obstacle your attacking with Disadvantage.
You know your attackers rough locations from the rustling but they know where you are because Dm reasons.

Round 1

Ana’s idea was a good one, so Hrgach joined her in using his greatsword to scythe down the undergrowth, but he made his way toward one of the rustling creatures as he did so.

There is a faint humming sound coming from the spot where Balin's hand was earlier followed by a flash and a yelp coming from where the northern rustling was.

OOC: Well Balin's first action of the game was a crits what are the odds.
Ill throw Ana and Hrgach action's in when there turn comes up. We are now at Asha's initiative. Positions remain the same.

Asha steps back behind Ana and Hrgach. She places the two warriors between herself and whatever was coming at them and then crouches down to get a look at the creature. Seeing them she looks at the closest one and ice and frost begin to form around it hindering it's ability to attack.

[sblock=action]Movement: moving behind Ana and Hrgach placing them between Asha and the attackers. Going prone to see the attackers.
Action: Casting frostbite on the closest creature. Con save vs DC 14 or take [roll0][sblock]
