Kerzoth/Ivanhoe
Evening
Round 0

“Get those crates loaded back up and let’s get out of here!” Hrgach yells to the orc. There was no way he was going to go traipsing through the dark woods after whatever was out there. He swung viciously at another vine.

The scream can once again be heard only this time it is more of gurgle and almost inaudible.

Gheedon is now positioned dead center of the cart cowering and barking orders"Protect the horses, load the wagon and recover that blasted glowi! There's 100 chunks! We need them all.
Graan dismounts from his seat failing and swings at a couple of vines on his way past. He grabs on to a crate and begins pushing it along the ground towards the wagon right up until a couple of vines ensnare his legs.

OOC: 3crates need loading each weighs 100lbs. One of the crates is missing some of its contents(glowing root) which are scattered.

"Where are the vines coming from? I only see them disappearing into the trees."

Asha's frustration is getting the better of her. Without a solid target she doesn't know what to do. When Gheedon says to protect the horses she looks to the animal. She sees Hrgach move to the front to look after the horses. Turning to fallow Graan as he dismounts to assist with the crates and watches as the vines ensnare the orcs legs. She had no spells that would make fire but plants also died to the cold so she points at one of the vines. Ice and frost crackle and form over one of the vines.

[sblock=Action] Casting frostbite on one of the vines. Must succeed at a Con save or take [roll0] cold damage and have disadvantage on next attack.[/sblock]

Ever practical, Aloysius makes a fast spiral with his wand and mutters "Jeeves". Nothing seems to happen but after a second the nearest glowi rises into the air, followed by the next nearest. The herbs are being gathered by some invisible force.
OOC: casting Unseen Servant, mentally commanding it to gather up the glowi and return it to the crate

Ana looks toward the gurgling sound and can't quite figure out where it might have come from. She looks back at the cart and sighs. She whispers to the chicken foot. "What kind of protection can you provide? Can it cover the horses and the wagon? And don't forget to whisper your response." She sheathes the sword and goes to the back of the cart and hauls one of the crates onto the cart.

Graan makes it back to the cart and loads the crate onto the back of the caravan.
The unseen force picks up about half the glowi before depositing them into the crate.

The chicken foot does not answer instead a white pickit fence made of bones appears topped with skulls their eyes glowing a deep red illuminating the scene. Inside the fence is a hut lofted about 15ft high on a pair of giant chicken legs. The hut currently has it's back to the group. Any vines within the radius of the fence are immediately severed. Two crates remain outside the fence. Gheedon looks like he wants to shout or cry or pass out he us completely stunned by the events that just unfolded.

A cackle breaks the silence of that the lack of a scream had left, its dark sound reverberates all around the forest and the heroes heads alike
