Hrgach looked at the board and grunted. “Well, those aren’t darts,” he said. He yanked the arrows out and studied them. “One is still good, if anyone wants it,” he offered, tossing two of the ruined arrows on the ground. He spun the other in his fingers. “Let’s start tapping the walls, finding these canvas coverings,” he suggested. “Anyone have a long pole. Otherwise I guess my greatsword will do,” he offered, replacing the lid on the crate, blocking the light from the roots inside.

Moving along the the cart once again echos along. The well founded caution reveals no more tarps or traps. The passage way carries on for another 60ft before taking a sharp turn to the left.

Rounding the corner reveals a large 60ft square room containing 3 make shift wooden doors on on the left, right and finally one on the left hand side of the bottom wall. The doors are poorly constructed from slats of wood held together with rope. There is also a large round table with 3tankards and wooden plates set on it 20ft from the table lies a fire pit with 5rats skewered over it, the fire is just glowing embers.

As the opening to the room comes into view of the coins with the magic light on them, the cart is stopped and a few of us creep forward. "Look at the fire," Ana whispers. "Someone was here very recently." She draws her sword and looks more carefully at the floor and the make shift doors.
OOC: perception: [roll0].
also, are any of the exits wide enough for the cart to pass.
edit: oops that should have been 1d20+4 so 24 actually.

Ana cannot see anything however she can hear something, lots of short shallow breaths they sound as if they are all around her.

The makeshift doors are badly hung and don't look like it would take much to destroy them. The wood is hardly anything more than kindling. Only the door on the bottom left would permit the cart through, just it would be a tight squeeze.

Ana waves everyone back a few feet. She whispers while obviously still keeping a shark watch on the doorway, "I think four or more eaters of rat are standing just on the sides of the door waiting to ambush us. Do we go cautiously and get jammed up in the hallway? Or do we rush in and have our fighters get cut off from the others who stay by the door?"

"On Hrgack's signal, me, you (points at Galdar) and him (points at Hrgack) rush in. I'll go left, Galdar goes right. Hrgack goes whichever seems best at the time. The others use their spells and what not as needed." Ana continues, "And be sure to be on the look out for nets or tripwires."
