The beasts do not seem deterred by the death of their companions or even by there own wounds.
The creature attacking Balin is looking pretty beat up by this point but it still keeps draining the halfling of blood.

The beast attacking Asha Finally manages to catch her latching itself and going rigid as it prepares to suck her dry.

Ana sees the pulverized remains of the creature she slew and a smile creeps across her face. She looks about for another beast to slay and spies one attached to Asha. She charges over and swings at the beast.
