Balancing easily on the boat, Erevan swiftly grabs his fine shortbow and nocks an arrow, letting it fly towards the illuminated monstrosity that has a hold on the dwarf.

It shrieks and shudders and drops a bit bring Eldeth perilously close to the water. The quippers begin jumping at her but can't quite reach.

Not yet. Derendil, Shuushar and Orsik still can act. I'll try to get to that in a bit...he can try to maneuver the boat closer

The first boat starts to flounder as the only two left on board are busy fighting the creature. Shuushar takes control of the second boat to try to maneuver close enough for Derendil to assist Eldeth.

The second boat moves in beside the first. Derendil balances himself on the bow and grabs tries to grab Eldeth.

...and the quaggoth topples forward as he misses and plunges into the dark water. It instantly erupts in a white foam as the quippers swarm in on him.
